About the role

We are looking for a commercially astute, intellectually agile, and performance-oriented Student Recruitment Coordinator at Navitas who transforms operational coordination into measurable enrolment growth and sustained success.


In this pivotal role, you will optimize the conversion of prospective international students into enrolled students through strategic desk-based engagement, influential stakeholder communication, and disciplined administrative oversight. You will ensure seamless, compliant, and strategically aligned management of applications and offers, taking full ownership of the conversion lifecycle and driving outcomes that truly matter.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

Student Pipeline Management

  • Manage student enquiries and applications through the conversion pipeline.
  • Conduct timely follow-up on applications and offers to maximize conversion.
  • Update and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Execute desk-based conversion campaigns to support enrolment outcomes.

 

Events & Market Activity

  • Provide limited support for events and recruitment activities.
  • Contribute primarily to online and virtual engagement initiatives.

 

Agent & Partner Management

  • Communicate regularly with agents to obtain updates on student applications.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to agents regarding application status.

 

Student & Parent Interaction

  • Respond to enquiries via email, phone, chat, and virtual sessions.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and supportive information to prospective students and parents.


Marketing & Communications

  • Use approved communication templates for follow-up and conversion activities.
  • Distribute FAQs and support communications to prospective students.

 

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date CRM data.
  • Generate weekly conversion reports for tracking and performance monitoring.

 

Forecasting

  • Input accurate student data into CRM to support forecasting processes.

 

Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Provide operational support to Student Recruitment Managers (SRMs) and Senior SRMs.
  • Liaise with Admissions teams to ensure efficient processing of applications.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Admissions and Marketing teams.

 

Market Intelligence

  • Provide feedback on frequently asked questions, common issues, and student concerns to inform process improvements.

 

Key Success Criteria

  • Improvement in student application-to-enrolment conversion rates.
  • Timely, accurate, and effective communications with students, parents, and agents.
  • High levels of CRM data accuracy and reporting consistency.
  • Constructive collaboration with SRMs, Admissions, and Marketing teams.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on student experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (desirable).
  • Prior experience in a customer service, sales support, or education sector role (desirable).
